Highlights from the Online Casino Industry in February 2015

Several awesome new online slot machines recently arrived in casino and they were developed by various online casino software providers. IGT Interactive launched a new slot called Prowling Panther and also a brand new Progressive Jackpot Slot called MegaJackpots Siberian Storm. A new online slot from Playtech called Cat in Vegas and a new RTG slot called The Three Stooges: Brideless Groom (or The Three Stooges 3) also both recently arrived in casinos.

Microgaming launched a new Live Dealer Casino Game called Live Casino Hold’em and they also announced that they will be releasing a new branded slot machine called Bridesmaids. This new slot will arrive in casinos in August 2015. Microgaming’s two latest slots include Golden Princess and Lucky Leprechaun and these new slots are scheduled to arrive in casinos in March, so they may have already arrived by the time you are reading these words. Microgaming is also proud to be celebrating ten years since it first launched another branded slot machine called Tomb Raider.

In other news, a famous online casino called Casino Euro recently had a completely new website redesign. There’s a new Navigation button in the top left hand side of homepage and this has a useful search engine where you can find your favourite games in much quicker time. Net Entertainment (NetEnt) launched a brand new online slot machine called Steam Tower and they will also soon be releasing another new online slot called Spiñata Grande. This new slot is scheduled to arrive in casinos March as well, which means that this game may have also already arrived by the time you are reading this.

NetEnt recently won the Slot Provider/Supplier Product of the Year award at this year’s International Gaming Awards, an event which took place in London, England, at the Savoy Hotel and speaking about winning this award was the President and CEO of NetEnt, Per Eriksson, “To walk away with the Slot Provider/Supplier Product of the Year for both online and land based is a superb achievement. “Our mission is always to provide leading edge online casino solutions and we’re honoured to be recognized for our hard work.”

Back in 2014, NetEnt won the Innovator of the Year award. Play’n Go won the Mobile Product of the Year. Scientific Games won the Lottery Operator of the Year and LeoVegas won the Slots Operator of the Year (Online) award.
