Microgaming Slot Tournaments

Added: Sept. 16, 2014

When you register an account with any Microgaming powered casino today, you can take part in slot tournaments to win real cash prizes. You can only sign up for these events from within the Microgaming casino download client, so you would need to install the software onto your computer when registering an account with sites such as Gaming Club Casino, Royal Vegas Casino, Jackpot City Casino or Spin Palace Casino.

Online slot tournaments, online blackjack tournaments and multi-player games are currently NOT available over Microgaming’s instant flash or Quickfire platforms. These events run throughout the day, seven days per week, they have some really big prizes to play for and some of these events are even free to enter (also known as freeroll slot tournaments).

Every few months, Microgaming will add a new slot machine to their tournament network and this will create several new events. In September 2014, a slot machine called The Argyle Open was added to the Microgaming Tournament Network and just a few weeks prior to this, a new slot called Sweet Harvest also arrived on this network.

This means that you can now find slots such as Agent Jane Blonde, Break da Bank Again, Tomb Raider, The Finer Reels of Life, Deck the Halls, Break Away, Avalon, Thunderstruck (1 and 2), Mad Hatters, Loaded, Hitman, Immortal Romance, Leagues of Fortune, Gold Factory, Lucky Witch, Sure Win, and Shoot! on this awesome network.

“For us, it’s all about timely content; delivering games to our operators’ players that will get them excited and keep them engaged. September holds one of the biggest tournaments in the golfing calendar, so what better time to deliver The Argyle Open tournament slot and the associated €100,000 network tournament! You don’t have to be at Gleneagles to be a part of the golfing action,” said the Product Manager for Microgaming’s Multi-Player Games, James Ford.

The prize pool can vary a great deal for each event and therefore the entrance fee (aka buy-in fee) can also vary a great deal. Some events allow you to ‘re-buy’ back in if you run out of chips, some allow you to purchase continues and some allow you to purchase add-ons. There are plenty of random events throughout the year, plus there are plenty of permanent fixtures available.

Keep an eye out for All Day Extender’s, All Day Reloader’s, Freeroll slot tourneys, Weekly One Shot events, Survivor Tournaments, The Weekly Whopper, the Midweek Moolah, the Monthly Monster and also The Accumulator. These events are really easy to find when you are logged into your account.

To find a schedule of upcoming and in-play events, click on the games button in the main lobby. You then need to click on the Multi-Player & Tournament button and this will redirect you to the main tournament lobby.
